Links to our Italian properties and information on Le Marche region
Beautiful towns and landscapes of Le Marche.
Properties for sale in Italy - Houses of historical importance in a stunning area of Le Marche
We first visited Le Marche by chance a number of years ago and were soon captivated by the tranquility and breathtaking beauty of the landscape. If, like us, you fall in love with Le Marche and wish to own a property in Central Italy to live "la dolce vita", we feel that you should take some time to view our special Le Marche property portfolio.
Our Italian properties are rebuilt according to anti-seismic rules, but adopting also traditional local architectural features and materials, such as sandstone blocks, hand made bricks and roof tiles, timber beams, etc. All that evokes a feeling of historical heritage. Located in the province of Macerata, all our homes in Italy have stunning views and lie in an area of outstanding natural beauty known for it's history, castles, medieval villages and its proximity to the majestic Sibillini Mountains. For more images and information about the latter see Sibillini Mountains and wildlife and Sibillini National Park.

                      Our Italian properties portfolio
We have Italian properties in Le Marche that have been fully rebuilt, partly using their original materials. One of our houses is ready to move in and nestles in a landscaped garden with mature trees. Our other properties include homes that have been beautifully reconstructed but require a small project to finish the interiors. We have also an imposing Italian villa that, for centuries, was the summer house of the local Conte (Borgo Ragoni). This hamlet is an investment property and now requires a full rebuild.

Looking for Italian properties? - Why you should consider Le Marche
We are Italian, but lived in England for many years, and it wasn’t until we had scanned many parts of Italy that we decided to buy properties in Le Marche. The Italian describe Le Marche as "all of Italy in one region", as it combines landscape, history and culture. It possesses dramatic mountains and rich agricultural lands that carpet the rolling hills down to the wonderful Adriatic coast. The area's beauty is now becoming more widely known and tourism, appreciation of the region, foods, wines and other products are on the increase.
Whilst most of Le Marche is an enchanting tapestry of undulating farmlands and medieval villages, this particular part also benefits from a dramatic scenery, due to its proximity to the National Sibillini Park and the Sibillini Mountains.
Behind the hills, three miles away, a free motorway (SS77) will take you to the Adriatic Sea in 40 minutes and to the International Airport of Ancona or Perugia in less than one hour. Assisi, Spoleto and Foligno too are less than one hour away. If you leave home after breakfast you can have lunch in Rome or Florence, or have a coffee in Saint Mark Square in Venice in mid-afternoon. Many lovely medieval centres are within easy reach. The small town of Camporotondo di Fiastrone is literally  minutes away from every property (this town and a few others are described on our local “towns page”). The university town of Macerata , administrative centre of the province, is 20 minutes away, with its shops, museums, theatres and Opera House. Nearby are also the university towns of Camerino (less than 20 miles) and Tolentino (8 miles), with its stunning church of St Nicholas, the fascinating little towns of Sarnano, San Ginesio (both named amongst the most beautiful villages in Italy), Gualdo, Penna San Giovanni, Caldarola, and many more.
